On 16th August 2000 we visited a site on the A259 Roundstone Bypass in East Preston.
The site was all gated but the fence had come down. Luckily there was a land owner on site who said we could enter and take some photos.
A little tip: always ask for permission before going onto private land. A simple explanation of who you are and what you want to do (in this case, take photos) is normally good enough.
Remember though, if they say no, that means no.
Here are the original photos, taken on a cheap digital camera and poorly orientated. 😄
We recently got the opportunity to revisit the site and took some better photos.
Over the years we’ve learned that landscape is always best. 😉
