Another old site we visited in 2000 was Coombes, in West Sussex.
Back then, the site was accessible from the road and we took these terrible photos.
You’ll notice there’s a recurring theme from 2000. Loads of sites, poor quality photos. We make no apology for that, it was the best we could do in those days.
We recently revisited the site, and it’s either been moved back or there’s been some highway restructuring going on. In any case, we couldn’t get to the site now so had to take some photos from the adjoining public footpath and from the roadside.
We were going to make a fancy video but the settings weren’t right. We’ll save that for another day and a more attractive site.
The mast head has also changed in the last 21 years.
